Dr Peter Williams, a classicist and New Testament scholar shows textual and archaeological evidence, some of which has only appeared in the last few years, that the gospels appear to be reliable narratives. Much of this was new to me, and appears to deal a pretty substantial blow to suggestions that the gospels are the result of conspiracy or removed from eyewitness testimony.

One Response to Dr Peter Williams explores new evidence for gospel reliability

  1. William Lane Craig is also a New Testament Scholar and has debated a number of the 'New Atheists' such as Sam Harris & Christopher Hitchens. His defence of the historicity of the gospels is also very good. See http://www.reasonablefaith.org
